Enviroschools: Kai for the Birds, Bees and Butterflies

  • ART PLAY in NATURE at Chingford Park 411 North Road Dunedin, Otago, 9010 New Zealand (map)

Make bird feeders and seed balls and propagate kowhai and more to feed the animals you want in your garden at ART PLAY in NATURE at Chingford Park.

With the changing weather patterns, we need to make sure the insects and birds in our gardens have food all year round.

Bird feeders and seedballs for some guerilla gardening means we can feed the birds and get flowering plants into not so easy to access areas for insects.

Our native birds and insects love kowhai. Start propagating these from seeds to share around your neighbourhood.

Oh, and find out some easy ways to grow some food for people as well.

Hosted by Enviroschools: The kaupapa of Enviroschools is about the well-being of the whole school, community and ecosystem. The aim is to foster a generation of young people who instinctively think and act sustainably. Otago Regional Council coordinates the Enviroschools programme in Otago.
