Froggy Facts and Feeding

  • Tūhura Otago Museum 419 Great King Street Dunedin, Otago, 9016 New Zealand (map)

Did you know that green and golden bell frogs are the only frogs in Australia that like to bask in the sun?

Although they are coloured mostly green and bronze, they have some bright blue patches on their legs. The female frogs can lay up to 10,000 eggs at one time!

Watch our green and golden bell frogs be fed and learn about the lives of these beautiful animals with our Science Communicators.
