Bring a picnic and rug and stay on to enjoy the Autumn garden after the composting session.

Avoid sending raw vegetable and fruit waste to land fill, instead use it at home to make the best food for your vegetable garden next spring. Composting enriches soil and promotes healthy plant growth.  

Join the educators at Olveston Historic Home as they show you how you can create your own great compost for your family garden.

Hosted by Olveston Historic Home: Olveston is an historic house museum but it also has a garden of National Significance. Kauri to cactus and everything in between. Learn how the Olveston garden has been shaped by 200 years of gardening history. Garden Tours are avalable on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 3-4pm.
