Subterranean Tales

  • Otago Museum 419 Great King Street Dunedin New Zealand (map)

Get ready to squirm like a worm! Let Soil Sistas (Kaitrin McMullan, Shelley4kids and Michelle Cox) take you underground with their show full of songs, stories, puppets, and earthy mirth.

Michelle Cox is an organic and permaculture educator who leads composting and healthy soil workshops for the Dunedin City Council, Kaitrin McMullan is a storyteller, puppet-wrangler, and schtickmeister who has been weaving her words around Dunedin audiences for over 30 years, and Shelly4kids is a children's singer, songwriter, and entertainer. This exciting and engaging show has been created especially for the 2023 Wild Dunedin Festival of Nature.

Dance the conga, join the slurp-n-burp orchestra, discover your inner protozoan personality. Wriggle along to a great show for all ages.

This free, family-friendly event will have you on your feet (or doing the worm), with theatre, music, puppets, dancing and more!
