Who’s the Genius in Your Garden? (CANCELLED)

  • Dunedin City Library 230 Moray Place Dunedin, Otago, 9016 New Zealand (map)

Find out who really does grow our food in the Dunningham Suite, 4th Floor, City Library.

Presenter Michelle Cox loves mixing science and the art of ecological growing, with slightly off-beat teaching approaches to engage and inspire.

Unfortunately, due to family circumstances, we’ve have to cancel this event. Michelle will be present in future Wild Dunedin festivals.

Michelle Cox, organic garden educator, introduces you to the complexity and beauty of the creatures in our soil, particularly the micro-organisms.

How they work in symbiotic ways with plants, supporting and protecting our sources of food, medicine, shelter, and spiritual wellbeing. And as a bonus water quality, air quality and our economy, oh and they may just save the world! (carbon sequestration and climate change).

Michelle has been offering workshops, design, and facilitation in organic growing and permaculture systems for over 20 years in and around Dunedin.

Suitable for audience 14+ years.

Cost: $10pp. 14-16 years Free
