Choose to take your pot home, or donate it to BeachCare.

2 Weaving Workshops: 10am -12.30pm & 2pm-4.30pm

Learn to weave pots that you can use to plant native seedlings, pot and all in the soil. The marram grass will break down naturally in time as the seedlings grow.

BeachCare members will teach you to pot up native seedlings. This is also an opportunity to chat to them about their restoration work.

If you would like to buy a plant to put in your pot, the nursery has lots to choose from!

All abilities and ages are welcome.  People using wheelchairs or other mobility devices are welcome. Please note that our toilet is located down a narrow path and so is unfortunately not accessible. Children under 16 will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Directions to Nursery: 470 Tomahawk Road, Ocean Grove. Continue past the Smaills Beach carpark and when you get to the Tautaku Fishing Club take the sealed road to the right. The nursery is on the right-hand side, near the bottom of the Karetai track.
